  • Assists with classroom set-up, clean-up, and organization;

  • Employ effective management practices to support diverse student   management needs and an environment conducive to learning
  • Engage in continuing professional staff development activities

SALARY: $47,984 - $54,471. Commensurate with certification/experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Professional Association. 

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:        

 

  • Provide instruction to students with emotional and learning   disabilities.
  • Provide students with a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to teaching and learning.
  • Record and report student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in general education.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with parents.

Teacher of Speech and Language Disabilities or Speech Pathologist (Two Positions)Speech Therapist PES 10.31.2021

LOCATION: Jefferson-Lewis BOCES Region (Two Positions)

SALARY: $47,984 - $54,471. Commensurate with certification/experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Professional Association. Clinical Fellowship Supervision available.

DUTIES: Provide speech therapy services to students with disabilities as specified in Individual Education Plans and speech improvement services to non-disabled students.

LOCATION: Itinerant Assignment:  This is an itinerant assignment serving the school districts within Jefferson & Lewis Counties.

SALARY: $47,984 – $54,471. Commensurate with certification/experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Professional Association.   

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: The Teacher of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing provides specialized instruction to K-12 students who have a hearing disability.  Services include direct instruction, consultation, and co-teaching as appropriate.  Preferred candidates will possess solid interpreting skills.
