LOCATION: Jefferson-Lewis BOCES, Globe Building, Watertown, NY 13601

SCHEDULE: Part Time, 12-15 Hours per week

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: $52.00 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of educators to
provide clinical instruction and clinical supervision at approved healthcare facilities as part of the Nursing Assistant program for 12th graders. Duties include:
• Collaborating with colleagues to integrate academics, literacy, and technology within the high school Nursing Assistant program
• Preparing students for the NY Nursing Assistant certification exam, post-secondary education and/or employment as a nursing assistant.
• Integrating 21st Century skills, employability skills, and academic standards with the program and with daily instruction
• Networking with hospital and medical staff to establish and monitor student clinical rotations
• Meeting / planning with local industry advisory committee for continuous improvement of the program

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: This is a full-time, 10-month position. Commensurate with experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement. DUTIES: Nursing Instructor position: full-time/daytime faculty position in the Practical Nursing Program. Position will be responsible for successfully performing the professional duties of didactic, simulation lab and clinical instruction. Position will be responsible for the following: student advisement and discipline, accreditation including course and program revision, program development, assessment development and monitoring, and perform other professional duties as directed and/or approved by the Health Careers Coordinator or Director of Adult & Continuing Education.
