COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: $52,249-$59,314. Commensurate with certification/experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Professional Association. Health insurance which includes vision & prescription coverage, NYS Retirement membership, tax deferred annuities, employee assistance program, and generous sick and personal day policies

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:        

  • Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities.
  • Develop individualized student supports based upon student performance data and individualized education plans.
  • Record and report student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in general education and provide resources to meet student learning needs
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with parents.

                       Evans Mills Elementary, Evans Mills, New York – Two Positions

Registered Professional Nurse (School)Nurse PES Calcium 3.31.2025

LOCATION: Jefferson-Lewis BOCES with initial assignment at Calcium Primary, Calcium, New York

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: This is professional nursing position involving responsibility for giving care to students and for performing related nursing services such as pupil health screening and notification of defects and communicable disease control requiring judgment and skills. The work is performed under the general direction of a School Physician or administrator. Supervision may be exercised over the work of clerical assistants or Teacher Aides. Does related work as required

LOCATION:  Jefferson-Lewis BOCES with Initial assignment at Calcium Primary, Calcium, New York

RESPONSIBILITIES: To provide nursing services under the supervision of a registered nurse during the school day.  Responsibilities include record keeping, dispensing medications, and other prescribed procedures.  The LPN Aide will also assist with health-related office tasks under the direction of administration. 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:  $26,744-$28,744. Commensurate with experience and in keeping with The current negotiated CSEA agreement. Health insurance, which includes vision & prescription coverage, NYS Retirement membership, tax deferred annuities, employee assistance program, and generous sick and personal day policies.
