RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:   The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of educators to provide a program of instruction in Electrical Wiring.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: $53,472 - $60,702. Commensurate with certification/experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Professional Association. Health insurance which includes vision & prescription coverage, NYS Retirement membership, tax deferred annuities, employee assistance program, and generous sick and personal day policies.    

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of educators to provide a program of instruction in Electrical Wiring.  A project-based learning approach will be key.   

  • Preparing students for careers and post-secondary education related to Electrical Wiring. 
  • Integrating 21st Century skills, employability skills, and academic standards with the program and with daily instruction.
  • Meeting / planning with local industry advisory committee for continuous improvement of the program
  • Preparing students for success on the NOCTI assessment/examination.

Water & Wastewater Management InstructorWater & Wastewater MGMT PT AE CTE 12.31.25

Teach courses in water treatment, wastewater treatment, distribution systems, collection systems, environmental regulations, and related topics.

        • Develop and revise curriculum and instructional materials to align with state and industry standards (e.g., NYS Department of Health, NYSDEC).
        • Provide hands-on instruction using lab equipment and simulations.
        • Prepare students for New York State operator certification exams (Grades I–IV).
        • Advise and mentor students pursuing careers in municipal water and wastewater services.
        • Maintain records of student progress, attendance, and certification readiness.
        • Establish and maintain industry partnerships to support internships, site visits, and guest lectures.
        • Reports to the Assistant Director for Career & Technical and Adult Education programs.
        • 10-15 hours/week, 2 to 3 nights/week, 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm

                                            

$45.00/hour, Salary commensurate with experience.
