SCHEDULE: 1-2 evenings per week for 4 weeks

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Small Engine Maintenance Instructor to teach a short course focused on preparing small engines for winter/spring storage. This course is designed for homeowners, hobbyists, and seasonal equipment users who want to prolong the life of their small engines by learning best practices for off-season care.
Some duties include:
• Develop and deliver engaging, hands-on lessons
• Demonstrate proper maintenance and safety techniques
• Provide students with checklists, maintenance schedules, and winter prep guides
• Answer questions and support diverse learning styles
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and interactive learning environment
• Be willing to offer the course in the fall & spring

SHIFT: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM , Full-Time position

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Commensurate with experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Support Staff Association. DUTIES: This is routine and repetitive physical work involving the efficient and economical performance of building cleaning and related tasks. Cleaning tasks are performed according to a well-established procedure. The work is performed under the supervision of an immediate supervisor. The incumbent does related work as required.
