RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of educators to provide a program of instruction in Plumbing/HVAC. A project-based learning approach will
be key.
• Preparing students for careers and post-secondary education related to Plumbing/HVAC fields.
• Integrating 21st Century skills, employability skills, and academic standards with the program and with daily instruction.
• Meeting / planning with local industry advisory committee for continuous improvement of the program
• Preparing students for success on the NOCTI for performance and SkillsUSA Plumbing and SkillsUSA HVAC/R assessments for practicum.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of educators to provide instruction in the health career cluster for 11th and/ or 12th graders.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
• Collaborating with colleagues to integrate academics, literacy, and technology with high school health careers programs
• Preparing students for post-secondary education and/or careers in the healthcare industry
• Integrating 21st Century skills, employability skills, and academic standards with the program and with daily instruction
• Networking with hospital and medical staff to set up guest speakers, field trips, and real-world experiences
• Meeting/ planning with local industry advisory committee for continuous improvement of the program

Teacher Assistant - Culinary Arts ProgramTA-Culinary Arts CTE BTC 6.15.2026

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS : Starting hourly rate: $20.40: Commensurate with experience and in keeping with the negotiated BOCES Support Staff Association agreement. Health insurance, which includes vision & prescription coverage, NYS Retirement membership, tax deferred annuities, employee assistance program, and generous sick and personal day policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Assist CTE instructor in the delivery of all aspects of the CTE program.
Duties include assisting classroom teacher in monitoring students, record-keeping, and guiding students as they practice newly acquired knowledge and skills.
