COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: $43,000-$48,000. Commensurate with experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement.  RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Pursuing and promoting a program to reduce districts energy consumption and costs.
  • Performing onsite inspections of buildings’ energy systems, performing energy calculations and assisting districts with the implementation of various energy savings strategies.
  • Collecting data and conducting benchmarking analysis for all district buildings.
  • Developing energy reduction programs through upgrades, retrofits, or installation of new equipment. This includes measurement while school is in session and after-hours.
  • Working with district staff to implement energy conservation measures (i.e., turning off lights, turning off computer equipment when not in use).
  • Working with the Transportation Department to investigate the electrical needs for conversion to mandated electric buses, including electrical entrance size, usage, time of day pricing, and storage potential.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Responsibilities include the supervision/evaluation of selected Special Education staff members, resolution of student discipline issues as well as liaison with Committees on Special Education, school district administrators, and other agencies.   Click Here for the complete job description.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: $75,000-$82,000. This is a 12-month position.  Salary commensurate with experience, in keeping with the current negotiated agreement.
