LOCATION: Jefferson-Lewis BOCES, initial assignment at Bohlen Technical Center, Watertown, NY.  

STARTING DATE: As Soon As Possible

SHIFT: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM 

SALARY: Minimum Starting Rate:$17.75 per hour. Commensurate with experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Support Staff Association. DUTIES: This is routine and repetitive physical work involving the efficient and economical performance of building cleaning and related tasks.  Cleaning tasks are performed according to a well-established procedure.  The work is performed under the supervision of an immediate supervisor.  The incumbent does related work as required.

DUTIES: The work involves responsibility for overseeing and participating in efficient and Economical cleaning of office buildings and the maintenance of surrounding grounds.The work is performed under the general supervision of a higher level administrator allowing leeway for the use of independent judgement in keeping buildings up to approved standards of cleanliness.  Direct supervision is exercised over the work of subordinate Custodians, Cleaners, and Groundskeepers.  The incumbent does related work as required.
