  • Collaborating with colleagues to integrate academics, literacy, and technology with high school emergency medical services careers
  • Preparing students for  continued education for careers in the emergency medical industry
  • Networking with fire departments, ambulance services, and the hospital setting to establish and monitor student rotations in the various departments
  • Meeting / planning with local industry advisory committee for continuous improvement of  the program
  • Preparing students for success on the National Registry and/or NYS Emergency Medical Technician Certification exam.

TITLE: School Psychologist

LOCATION: Jefferson Lewis BOCES, Watertown, New York with possible assignment between two component districts.                 

SALARY: Starting at $60,532. Commensurate with certification/experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Professional Association. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of educators to provide services to students. Duties include:

  • Psychological evaluations, IEP development, group and individual counseling, and consultation with parents and faculty
  • Participate in district’s Response to Intervention and Committee on Special Education in making decisions that are in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Provide speech therapy services to students with disabilities as specified in Individual Education Plans and speech improvement services to non-disabled students.

LOCATION: This is an itinerant assignment serving the school districts within Jefferson & Lewis Counties.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: The Teacher of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing provides specialized instruction to K-12 students who have a hearing disability.  Services include direct instruction, consultation, and co-teaching as appropriate.  Preferred candidates will possess solid interpreting skills.
