RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of educators to provide
a program of instruction in operation and maintenance of Heavy Equipment. A project-based learning approach will be key.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
• Preparing students for careers and post-secondary education related to Heavy Equipment.
• Integrating 21st Century skills, employability skills, and academic standards with the program and with daily instruction.
• Meeting / planning with local industry advisory committee for continuous improvement of the program.
• Preparing students for success on the NCCER and/or other certification exams

LOCATION: Initial Assignment at Calcium Primary School, Calcium, New York

START DATE: As soon as possible

REPORTS TO: Director of Programs for Exceptional Students

TERMS: Full-time, 10 month position  

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: The Health Services Coordinator will oversee student health records, develop and monitor health intervention plans, supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and collaborate closely with school administrators, district staff, and families to promote safe, supportive learning environments.

  • Maintain and monitor confidential student health records in accordance with NYS and FERPA guidelines
  • Develop and oversee individualized health intervention and emergency care plans
  • Supervise, support, and evaluate Licensed Practical Nurses assigned across the region
  • Serve as a liaison between BOCES, component school districts, healthcare providers, and families
  • Coordinate compliance with NYS health regulations, immunization requirements, and school health policies
  • Provide training and professional development on health protocols and procedures
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of health-related services, including screenings and medication administration
  • Respond to health emergencies and consult on medical accommodations for students

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of educators to provide a program of instruction in Early Childhood Education. A project-based learning approach will be key.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
• Preparing students for careers and post-secondary education related to Early Childhood Education
• Integrating 21st Century skills, employability skills, and academic standards with the program and with daily instruction
• Meeting / planning with local industry advisory committee for continuous improvement of the program
• Preparing students for national industry-based technical assessment.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of educators to provide instruction in the health career cluster for 11th and/ or 12th graders.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
• Collaborating with colleagues to integrate academics, literacy, and technology with high school health careers programs
• Preparing students for post-secondary education and/or careers in the healthcare industry
• Integrating 21st Century skills, employability skills, and academic standards with the program and with daily instruction
• Networking with hospital and medical staff to set up guest speakers, field trips, and real-world experiences
• Meeting/ planning with local industry advisory committee for continuous improvement of the program

Plumbing/Heating Ventilation HVAC InstructorHVAC Instructor CTE BTC 6.15.2026

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of educators to provide a program of instruction in Plumbing/HVAC. A project-based learning approach will
be key.
• Preparing students for careers and post-secondary education related to Plumbing/HVAC fields.
• Integrating 21st Century skills, employability skills, and academic standards with the program and with daily instruction.
• Meeting / planning with local industry advisory committee for continuous improvement of the program
• Preparing students for success on the NOCTI for performance and SkillsUSA Plumbing and SkillsUSA HVAC/R assessments for practicum.
