TITLE: Special Education Teacher – Two Positions

Jefferson-Lewis BOCES with initial assignment at
Boak Education Center-ACES, Lowville, New York
Indian River Middle School, Philadelphia, New York
Indian River Intermediate School, Philadelphia, New York
Alternative Center Education Services, Watertown, New York
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: $52,249-$59,314. Commensurate with certification/experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Professional Association. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities.
- Develop individualized student supports based upon student performance data and individualized education plans.
- Record and report student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues in general education and provide resources to meet student learning needs
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents.
