Job Description

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: $52,249-$59,314. Commensurate with certification/experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Professional Association. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a teacher assistant and a team of educators to provide career exploration through a project-based integrated approach. Duties include:

• Collaborate with English and Social Studies teacher and local industry representatives to develop project-based, problem solving activities that align to the Common Core Learning Standards
• Develop students 21^st Century skills in the context of exploration of the 16 national career clusters

Job Qualifications

Candidates must possess or be eligible for NYS Certification in any Career and Technical Education area.  A complete list may be found at http://eservices.nysed.gov/teach/certhelp/CertRequirementHelp.do

Dual Certification in an academic area preferred.
Experience / Training in project-based learning preferred. Applicants with business, agriculture, manufacturing or skilled trades experience preferred.
