RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Provide clinical nursing instruction and supervision to adult nursing students at various healthcare facilities. Facilitate hands-on laboratory instruction, including skills practice and simulation-based learning experiences. Evaluate student performance in clinical and laboratory settings and provide constructive feedback to support student growth and competency development. Ability to deploy simulation-based instruction subsequent to in-service training sessions. Collaborate with program faculty and clinical partners to ensure effective implementation of the nursing curriculum..

COMPENSATION: Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications and will be negotiated with the school district making the appointment.

RESPONSIBILITES/DUTIES: Selected candidates must be prepared to serve in any one of the 17 component school districts supported by Jefferson-Lewis-Hamilton-Herkimer-Oneida BOCES. Assignments may arise throughout the school year and may vary in duration based on the needs of the requesting school district. This is an ongoing recruitment. • Oversee the development, administration, and monitoring of the annual budget.
• Manage accounting, payroll, purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and financial reporting.
• Prepare financial reports, projections, analyses, and recommendations for the Superintendent and Board of Education.
• Support long-range financial planning and responsible stewardship of public resources.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, New York State Education Department requirements, Office of the State Comptroller guidance, Board policies, and district procedures.
• Coordinate annual independent audits and assist with corrective action plans as needed.
• Oversee state aid, grants, claims, contracts, bidding, and procurement processes.
• Support capital projects, facilities planning, transportation, food service, insurance, risk management, and other operational functions, as assigned.
• Supervise and support business office and operational staff.
• Collaborate with superintendents, boards of education, administrators, auditors, legal counsel, bargaining units, vendors, and community partners.
• Maintain strong internal controls and safeguard district assets and confidential information.
• Provide continuity during leadership transitions and prepare records and information for the incoming permanent School Business Official.
• As requested by the Superintendent or Jefferson-Lewis BOCES, provide mentoring, coaching, and consultation to School Business Officials, business office personnel, or administrative teams to support leadership development, financial stewardship, and a successful transition
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or appropriate BOCES administrator.

• Serving as the chief executive officer of the school district and providing leadership for all district programs, operations, and personnel.
• Working collaboratively with the board of education to maintain continuity, establish priorities, and support effective governance.
• Implementing board policies and carrying out the goals and directives established by the board of education.
• Providing leadership and oversight for instructional programs, student services, finance, human resources, facilities, transportation, school safety, and district operations.
• Overseeing the development, administration, and monitoring of the district budget in collaboration with the school business official and board of education.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state laws, New York State Education Department requirements, board policies, collective bargaining agreements, and district procedures.
• Supporting labor relations, collective bargaining, personnel matters, and the administration of employee contracts.
• Assisting with emergency response, district safety planning, crisis management, and continuity of operations.
• Providing continuity during the leadership transition and assisting the board of education with preparations for the arrival of a permanent superintendent.
• As requested by the Board of Education or Jefferson-Lewis BOCES, provide coaching, mentoring, and leadership support to newly appointed superintendents and district leadership teams to promote a successful transition and strengthen organizational capacity.

• Promote high-quality instruction and support student achievement.
• Collaborate with district and BOCES leadership, teachers, support staff, families, students, and community partners.
• Communicate clearly and consistently with all school community stakeholders.
• Support student attendance, behavior management, discipline practices, and social-emotional needs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, New York State Education Department requirements, Board of Education policies, collective bargaining agreements, and district procedures.
• Support emergency response efforts, school safety planning, and crisis management.
• Provide leadership continuity during transitions and assist with preparation for the incoming permanent administrator.
• When appropriate, provide executive coaching, mentoring, and consultation to district administrators to support leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and continuity of operation.
• Complete other responsibilities assigned by the Superintendent or appropriate BOCES administrator.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: This is routine and repetitive physical work involving the efficient and economical performance of building cleaning and related tasks. Cleaning tasks are performed according to a well-established procedure. The work is performed under the supervision of an immediate supervisor. The incumbent does related work as required.

• Assist with daily living and management skills for students with special needs
• Employ effective management practices to support diverse student   management needs and an environment conducive to learning

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of educators to provide instruction in the Nursing Assistant program for 12th graders.

Duties include:    

• Collaborating with colleagues to integrate academics, literacy, and technology with the high school Nursing Assistant program
• Preparing students for the Certified Nursing Assistant exam, post-secondary education and/or employment as a nursing assistant.
• Integrating 21st Century skills, employability skills, and academic standards with the program and with daily instruction
• Networking with hospital and medical staff to establish and monitor student clinical rotations
• Meeting / planning with local industry advisory committee for continuous improvement of the program
• Instructing a session of Medical Career students each day
